History of Photography

So what did you think of the History of Photography? You had a short exposure (pun intended!) to how the whole thing started. What did you find most interesting? Was it the importance of chemistry in the whole process? How difficult do you think it was for early photographers such as Matthew Brady? What was the biggest hurdle you think he had to overcome? Respond to this post or make the first entry on your own blog. Due: Thursday, September 17

  1. I find the history of digital photography very intresting. I think it is cool how it was invented. I think it must have been very difficult for early photographers such as mathew brady because they had to put in alot of work and dedication to this. The biggest hurdle i think he had to overcome is doing it on his own.

  2. i think the history of photography is actually just a tad interesting. its crazy how these people actually figured out, on their own, ways to take photos. i would imagine it being extremely difficult to create new technology especially with the limited resources people had to work with back then. The most intriguing thing about the piece we watched was probably seeing how large early cameras were. I find that intriguing because I look at today's cameras and it's amazing to see how much they have evolved. I honestly don't care too much about the history of photography but i was surprised at how interesting it could be.
